There are categories for Scientific Instruments and Scientific Equipment, without any distinguishing criteria. My own feeling is that instruments involve precision measurement. I'd refine this to include optical instruments where the grinding and positioning of the lens must be precise. Alternatively, we could lose the Instrument cat and throw everything into Equipment. Thoughts?! JackyR 15:47, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

Question: I've got a picture of a Spectrum analyzer: Image:Spectrum_analyzer_rohde_schwarz_fsh3.jpg. However, I'm new here. How can I add it to a gallery?

as both Category:Knowledge and Category:Academic disciplines»Category:Academia are kindel to "Topic", that was a "don't-do-it", see Commons:Categories#Category_structure - please see Dapetes Catgraph for the wellformed categorization: [1] - greetings --W!B: 07:12, 12 May 2007 (UTC) (please don't even think about that had any other reason than the "child-and-grandchild-of-the-same-elter" rule)
