Adeeb Ahamed[1]

Adeeb Ahamed[2]is a UAE based billionaire businessman[3][4]of Indian origin from the state of Kerala. He is the Managing Director of LuLu Financial Group (LuLu FG)[5][6], Tablez, and Twenty14 Holdings, [7]He is also a board member of the Lulu group international.[8]Adeeb is a member of the World Economic Forum's South Asian Regional Strategy Group(RSG).[9]Adeeb Ahmed won the gold card UAE Visa from the Federal authority of identity and citizenship in Abu Dhabi in 2019.[10] Adeeb Ahamed is also a trustee on the board of The Kochi Biennale Foundation (KBF). [11][12]He was listed in the Top 100 Indian Leaders in the Arab World by Forbes Middle East[13] and was also conferred with the Indian CEO of the Year Award in the ‘Financial Services’ category in the ITP Publishing Group’s 2014 edition.[14] He also serves as the Secretary of the Foreign Exchange and Remittance Group (FERG) in the UAE and is a board member of India-based Jai Hind Communications Private Limited.[15]

Early life and Education[edit]

Adeeb Ahamed was born in Kochi, Kerala.[16][17]He completed his Bachelor's in Business Administration and Management from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Switzerland, and his MBA in International Management from Royal Holloway, University of London. He is married to UAE-based Indian businesswoman Shafeena Yusuff Ali.[18]

Philanthropy[edit]

Adeeb Ahamed is involved in public service activities focused on universal education awareness and empowerment of girls’ education and has also been involved in projects such as building a girls’ hostel in Kerala, India, and contributing to the construction of an Indian School in Oman.[19] [20] He has also gone on to support the parents of young children needing heart operations and facilitates for the treatment of such infants aged one to five, and is also an active member in various charitable trusts.[21][22]

Achievements[edit]

Adeeb finalized a £110 million deal to acquire the Great Scotland Yard,[33]the former home of London’s Metropolitan Police Service, with plans to transform the structure into a hotel.[34][35]as a part of his hospitality wing.[36] He also opened a hotel in Dubai, UAE, managed by the Frankfurt-based Steigenberger Hotel Group, at Business Bay, Dubai, in November 2015. His company twenty14 holdings also acquired the Abad Airport Hotel in Kochi.[37]
