Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku

Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku (born January 2, 1984) is a pharmacist by training and the current Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.[1][2][3]

Early life[edit]

Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku was born on January 2, 1984 at Uruvicheba, Okene, Kogi State, to the family of Mallam Abdulkareem Salawu Otaru.

Asuku has his primary school education in 1989 to 1994 from LGEA Primary School, Ogogoro in Okehi Local Government of Kogi State and in 2002 finished from Abdul Aziz Atta Memorial College Okene (AAMCO) where he had his secondary school certificate. In 2002, Asuku gained admission into Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he successfully graduated with a degree in Pharmaceutical Science in 2009.

Career[edit]

Asuku has worked both in private and public sectors and with a specialty in promotion of safe public health.[4]

Asuku was appointed was appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Governor in 2019[2] after the resignation of Edward Onoja as the Chief of Staff to the Governor.[5][6]

Asuku through his health initiative has reached out to people in need of medical assistance[7][8] and also extend aids to youths,[9][10] women and widows.[11]
