Abdul Wahab Dogar (Template:Lang-ur) (15 April 19) is currently Program Director & Head of Department of Gambat Liver Transplant Unit at Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat.

Education and Career

Completed his Higher School Education in 1996 from Government High School Kahror Pacca Tehsil and secondary School Education 1998 from Government Collage Bosan Road Multan

Completed his MBBS Degree From Quaid-e-Azam Medical College Bahawalpur in 2004. and got registered with Pakistan Medical Commission ( 44801-P) [1]

He became a fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2009 ( SGR-09-9934), and then completed his fellowship training in Liver Transplant and HPB Surgery from Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Taiwan in 2010-2011 [2]

Establishing Liver Transplant Services In Pakistan

He is Currently Working as Program Director at Gambat Liver Transplant Unit in Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Sciences Gambat Khairpur District Sindh [3]

in 2011 He joined Shifa International Hospital Islamabad where he was the fundamental member of the first-ever Liver Transplant Program of Pakistan he worked there for 3 years in various positions.[4]

in 2015 he joined Doctors Hospital, Lahore [1] and performed his first Liver Transplant there and that patient could not survive and died of gastric ulcer bleeding after the 17th day of the transplant.[5]

in 2018 He also established and started liver transplant services at Quaid-e-Azam International Hospital Islamabad (QIH)and performed the first HISTORIC LIVER TRANSPLANT SURGERY AT QIH [6] in collaboration with his mentor Dr. Subash Gupta and his team.
